Discovered at Brutally Honest is a piece exposing Ted Kennedy for what he truly was... a traitor to his country.

Shocking even to me, and the story comes via Forbes.

Ol' Ted was in bed with the Russian Communists trying to work against Ol' Reagan, and use the Russian's in a bid to defeat Reagan.... go read it all... if you can stomach it...

Ted Kennedy's Soviet Gambit
Peter Robinson, 08.28.09, 12:01 AM EDT
Considering the late senator's complete record requires digging into the USSR's archives.

Picking his way through the Soviet archives that Boris Yeltsin had just thrown open, in 1991 Tim Sebastian, a reporter for the London Times, came across an arresting memorandum. Composed in 1983 by Victor Chebrikov, the top man at the KGB, the memorandum was addressed to Yuri Andropov, the top man in the entire USSR. The subject: Sen. Edward Kennedy.

"On 9-10 May of this year," the May 14 memorandum explained, "Sen. Edward Kennedy's close friend and trusted confidant [John] Tunney was in Moscow." (Tunney was Kennedy's law school roommate and a former Democratic senator from California.) "The senator charged Tunney to convey the following message, through confidential contacts, to the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, Y. Andropov."

Kennedy's message was simple. He proposed an unabashed quid pro quo. Kennedy would lend Andropov a hand in dealing with President Reagan. In return, the Soviet leader would lend the Democratic Party a hand in challenging Reagan in the 1984 presidential election. "The only real potential threats to Reagan are problems of war and peace and Soviet-American relations," the memorandum stated. "These issues, according to the senator, will without a doubt become the most important of the election campaign."

Kennedy made Andropov a couple of specific offers.....

H/T to Alice the Camel
At times this administration really does appear simply... inept... esp when it comes to dealing with the Mideast.

It is notable that the Borg Conspiracy called it from the get-go... about the White House changing the commander in Afghanistan, and the Borg's foreseeing the consequences... calling the consequences... now... very humbly explaining the results... without so much as an "I told you so!" even though one would be well deserved!

Must go check out his post at the Borg Conspiracy ... and remember... he told us so.

How To Lose a War, Without Really Trying

Or...... "How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb."

Borrowing just a bit from the classic Stanley Kubric film Dr. Strangelove, I can't help but immediately see some similarities between that film and what we have occurring in America today as it concerns the war on terror. The only difference between Kubric's fiction and the present day reality? We don't have a renegade General Jack Ripper, or an amiable general Buck Turgidson. Or the most likable Group Captain Lionel Mandrake trying to reason his way through it all, while Peter Sellers changes hats and characters at a maddening pace throughout the drama.

Picture if you will, just a smattering of the facts as they have been reported as of today today.

White House: 'War on terrorism' is over

It's official. The U.S. is no longer engaged in a "war on terrorism." Neither is it fighting "jihadists" or in a "global war."

"The President does not describe this as a 'war on terrorism,'" said John Brennan, head of the White House homeland security office, who outlined a "new way of seeing" the fight against terrorism.

There you have it. We will now call the war......."the war against Al Qaida." It's a "new way of seeing it!"

Then there was this.....

White House Spokesman Uses Phrase "War On Terror"....

Go read it all.

Your point of view is everything: the pond is an ocean to a tadpole.
May our point of view not limit the perspective God wants us to see.

We may consider ourselves small and insignificant, but the God of the universe, as He looked at you and me, saw something worth sacrificing His own Son for.

John 3:16 reminds us:
“God so loved the world (you and me) that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
"God, Thank You for looking at me with all my flaws, for loving me and sending Your Son to die for me.

“All men desire peace, but very few desire those things that make for peace.”
(Thomas à Kempis)
The writer of Proverbs 15:1 gives us this good advice:
“A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.”
How many arguments could have been avoided this week had we only been willing not to have the last word? How much peace could have been purchased with these three words: “I was wrong”?

"God, help me to not only desire peace but to do what is necessary to walk in peace with You, with my family, and with my friends.
Amen."

One does wonder if this new law is going to be applied to those souls who are infected with the AIDS virus?

Wake Up, America: Forced vaccinations, quarantine camps, health care interrogations and mandatory "decontaminations"
Check this out. So now our liberties are being assaulted at the state level. In Massachusetts the home of the late Sen. Kennedy.

Natural News
The United States of America is devolving into medical fascism and Massachusetts is leading the way with the passage of a new bill, the "Pandemic Response Bill" 2028, reportedly just passed by the MA state Senate and now awaiting approval in the House. This bill suspends virtually all Constitutional rights of Massachusetts citizens and forces anyone "suspected" of being infected to submit to interrogations, "decontaminations" and vaccines...

"Involuntary Transportation" (also known as kidnapping)

Law enforcement authorities, upon order of the commissioner or his agent or at the request of a local public health authority pursuant to such order, shall assist emergency medical technicians or other appropriate medical personnel in the involuntary transportation of such person to the tuberculosis treatment center.

$1,000 / day in fines

Any person who knowingly violates an order, as to which noncompliance poses a serious danger to public health as determined by the commissioner or the local public health authority, shall be punished by imprisonment for not more than 30 days or a fine of not more than one thousand dollars per day that the violation continues, or both.

Forced vaccinations

Furthermore, when the commissioner or a local public health authority within its jurisdiction determines that either or both of the following measures are necessary to prevent a serious danger to the public health the commissioner or local public health authority may exercise the following authority: (1) to vaccinate or provide precautionary prophylaxis to individuals as protection against communicable disease...

Forced quarantine for those who refuse (illegal imprisonment without charge)

An individual who is unable or unwilling to submit to vaccination or treatment shall not be required to submit to such procedures but may be isolated or quarantined pursuant to section 96 of chapter 111 if his or her refusal poses a serious danger to public health or results in uncertainty whether he or she has been exposed to or is infected with a disease or condition that poses a serious danger to public health, as determined by the commissioner, or a local public health authority operating within its jurisdiction...

Here is a telling little article from the Space Weather site.

I really hate to say it... but... I've been yelling this was coming for two years now... the reason I knew it was coming?

I know a few things about God, and one thing I do know is that God always works against the efforts of humans who think they can do what only God can do... it's inevitable.

The moment that the Global Warming fear mongers started their boasting that humans were the cause and the solution to Global Warming... I knew God would prove them wrong.

He always has... always will.

God will always reserve the privilege of being God in spite of man's greatest efforts to control world destiny... and that certainly includes nature and the forces of nature.

Going to be a rather cold winter friends.

BLANK SUNS: Inspect the image "above". It is a photo of the sun taken by the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO). Can you guess what day it was taken?...

...August 28th, today. But it could have been taken on any day of the past seven weeks. For all that time, the face of the sun has looked exactly the same--utterly blank.

According to NOAA sunspot counts, the longest string of blank suns during the current solar minimum was 52 days back in July, Aug. and Sept. of 2008. If the current trend continues for only four more days, the record will shift to 2009. It's likely to happen; the sun remains eerily quiet and there are no sunspots in the offing. Solar minimum is shaping up to be a big event indeed.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist... as they say.

Here is a shocker!

Howard Dean openly admits that the reason that "tort" reform is nowhere a part of "health care reform" is because the democratic party is owned by trial lawyers!

This one is really fun, and watching Charles K. get it and call it as it is is really fun!

So the democratic party wants middle Americans to pay for everyone's health care as well as keep padding the pockets of trial lawyers.

Got to love this!

John Stossel of ABC news is actually starting to get it.

I'll have to admit that it is rewarding to see some in the media starting to wake up to the either total ineptness of this administration or it's absolute madness.

I'll also have to admit that I think it is pure madness, that they know exactly what they are trying to do and accomplish. What I don't think they expect is that American's will do anything other then roll over and play dead...

Anyway... John is catching on to their madness...

Geithner Moral Hazard

"The dominant public policy imperative motivating reform is to address the moral hazard risk created by what we did, what we had to do in the crisis to save the economy," Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner said in an interview.

That's from today's Washington Post. The "moral hazard risk" arises when government encourages people to gamble by suggesting that government will rescue them if they fail. By bailing out the banks, the federal government has essentially declared to the world that they will do it again. That created a moral hazard.

It's refreshing to know that Administration is aware of the problem. But how do they plan to fight it? By:

... penalizing banks for being big. It would require large institutions to hold more capital and pay higher regulatory fees, as well as allow the government to liquidate them in an orderly way if they begin to fail.

So let me get this straight: The government has encouraged, and
in some cases forced, big banks to merge and grow bigger...but they propose now to penalize the banks for becoming too big.

On what planet does this make sense? The real way to fight moral hazard is to tell these banks that they will be allowed to fail...and then to have the courage to let them.

Meanwhile, these special rules for "big banks" make it harder for smaller regional banks to compete:

"To favor one class of financial institutions over another class skews the market. You don't have a free market; you have a government-favored market," [Camden Fine, president of the Independent Community Bankers of America] said. "We will never have free markets again if you have the government picking winners and losers."

Exactly.

A bit of wisdom from Koinonia House
The Christian's Famine Today:

Too many Christians today suffer from malnourishment; we are living in famine conditions but the famine has nothing to do with food. Our famine is like the one that Amos spoke of:

"The days are coming," declares the Sovereign LORD, "when I will send a famine through the land - not a famine of food or a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of the LORD." - Amos 8:11

Let's put as much effort into feeding ourselves with the Word of God as we do putting supper (with or without in-vitro burgers) on the table. After all, man does not live by bread alone.

Friday, August 28th. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

“We are creatures of habit. Old cranks have practiced all their lives, just as old saints have likewise practiced all their lives.”
(John Powell)

What habit have you practiced that defines who you are? What habits or traits did you pass as your legacy to the next generation? The writer of Galatians 6:7 tells us
“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”
God is not the only one who is not fooled, others also know you by your actions.

"God, let me live daily as one who walks with You, showing others who You are in my life.
Amen."

Phew.... the bad news is coming in a neck breaking speed!

Received this heads-up from Vickie in an e-mail where she shared the following... so I did a little further searching and got the original report from the fox news report below the e-mail report...

This is really just... disgusting...

First... from Vickie...

Yesterday at John McCain's town hall in Phoenix, a moonbat stood up and announced that some things are so important that they must be turned over to the government — namely, healthcare. A wiser person would have said that some things are so important that they must be kept away from the government at all costs — including not only healthcare but education. The latest from our nascent world government:

The United Nations is recommending that children as young as five receive mandatory sexual education that would teach even pre-kindergarteners about masturbation and topics like gender violence.

The U.N.'s Economic, Social and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) released a 98-page report in June offering a universal lesson plan for kids ranging in age from 5-18, an "informed approach to effective sex, relationships" and HIV education that they say is essential for "all young people."

The program will also brainwash tikes about the horrors of "transphobia." Those who have reached the ripe old age of 9 will learn about the blessings of abortion. One objective is to "promote the right to and access to safe abortion."

Nine-year-olds will also learn about aphrodisiacs, while 5-year-olds are taught about the pleasures of masturbation, as well as "gender roles, stereotypes and gender-based violence."
Now... for the
fox news report...

U.N. Report Advocates Teaching Masturbation to 5-Year-Olds

NEW YORK — The United Nations is recommending that children as young as five receive mandatory sexual education that would teach even pre-kindergarteners about masturbation and topics like gender violence.

The U.N.'s Economic, Social and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) released a 98-page report in June offering a universal lesson plan for kids ranging in age from 5-18, an
"informed approach to effective sex, relationships" and HIV education that they say is essential for "all young people."

The U.N. insists the program is "age appropriate," but critics say it's exposing kids to sex far too early, and offers up abstract ideas — like "transphobia" — they might not even understand.

"At that age they should be learning about ... the proper name of certain parts of their bodies," said Michelle Turner, president of Citizens for a Responsible Curriculum, "certainly not about masturbation."

Turner was disturbed by UNESCO's plans to explain to children as young as nine about the safety of legal abortions, and to advocate and "promote the right to and access to safe abortion" for everyone over the age of 15.

"This is absurd," she told FOXNews.com.

The UNESCO report, called "International Guidelines for Sexuality Education," separates children into four age groups: 5-to-8-year-olds, 9-to-12-year-olds, 12-to-15-year-olds and 15-to-18-year-olds.

Under the U.N.'s voluntary sex-ed regime, kids just 5-8 years old will be told that "touching and rubbing one's genitals is called masturbation" and that private parts "can feel pleasurable when touched by oneself."

• Click here to see the report.

By the time they're 9 years old, they'll learn about "positive and negative effects of 'aphrodisiacs," and wrestle with the ideas of "homophobia, transphobia and abuse of power."

At 12, they'll learn the "reasons for" abortions — but they'll already have known about their safety for three years. When they're 15, they'll be exposed to direct "advocacy to promote the right to and access to safe abortion."

Child health experts say they are wary of teaching about the sticky topic of abortion, but stress that as long as messages stay age-appropriate, educating kids at a younger age helps better steer them into adulthood.

"The adults are more leery of [early sex-ed] than the kids are," said Dr. Jennifer Hartstein, a child psychiatrist in New York. "Our own fears sometimes prevent us from being as open and honest with our kids as possible."

Hartstein, however, who didn't see much harm in explaining basic concepts that kids of all ages will have questions about, was baffled by some of the ideas the U.N. hoped to introduce to kids as young as 5 years old, who will be taught about "gender roles, stereotypes and gender-based violence."

"I want to know how you teach that to a 5-year-old," Hartstein told FOXNews.com.

Despite those challenges, the U.N. insists that "in a world affected by HIV and AIDS ... there is an imperative to give children and young people the knowledge, skills and values to understand and make informed decisions."

UNESCO officials said the guidelines were "co-authored by two leading experts in the field of sexuality education" — Dr. Doug Kirby, an adolescent sexuality expert, and Nanette Ecker, the former director of international education and training at the Sexuality Information and Education Council of the United States.

Their report was based on a "rigorous review" of sex-ed literature, "drawing upon 87 studies from around the world," said Mark Richmond, director of UNESCO's Division for the Coordination of U.N. Priorities in Education, in an e-mailed statement.

Richmond defended teaching about masturbation as "age-appropriate" because even in early childhood, "children are known to be curious about their bodies." Their lessons, he added, would hopefully help kids "develop a more complex understanding of sexual behaviour" as they grow into adults.

But Michelle Turner, of Citizens for a Responsible Curriculum, said that such roles should be left up to parents, and worried that children were being exposed to too much information too soon.

"Why can't kids be kids anymore?" she said.
Having right wing radicals like myself saying that we are on the verge of a revolution in this country is one thing... true as we might be... but...

ACLU’s spying project: Operation CIA Paparazzi
By Michelle Malkin • August 26, 2009 09:27 AM

Have you heard a peep from ACLU supporters about the group’s special spying project on undercover CIA agents? Me neither. It’s the subject of my syndicated column this week. IBD has an excellent editorial. Few other MSM papers have weighed in.

ACLU: Spying for America’s enemies
by Michelle Malkin
Creators Syndicate
Copyright 2009

Savor the silence of America’s self-serving champions of privacy. For once, the American Civil Liberties Union has nothing bad to say about the latest case of secret domestic surveillance. Because it is the ACLU that committed the spying.

Last week, the Washington Post reported on a new Justice Department inquiry into photographs of undercover CIA officials and other intelligence personnel taken by ACLU-sponsored researchers assisting the defense team of Guatanamo Bay detainees. According to the report, the pictures of covert American CIA officers – “in some cases surreptitiously taken outside their homes” – were shown to jihadi suspects tied to the 9/11 attacks in order to identify the interrogators.

The ACLU undertook the so-called “John Adams Project” with the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers – last seen crusading for convicted jihadi assistant Lynne Stewart. She’s the far Left lawyer who helped jailed 1993 World Trade Center bombing/NY landmark bombing plot mastermind Omar Abdel-Rahman smuggle coded messages of Islamic violence from the imprisoned sheik to outside followers in violation of an explicit pledge to abide by her client’s court-ordered isolation.

The ACLU’s team used lists and data from “human rights groups,” European researchers and news organizations who were involved in “[t]racking international CIA-chartered flights” and monitoring hotel phone records. Working from a witch hunt list of 45 CIA employees, the ACLU team then tailed and photographed agency employees or obtained other photos from public records.

And then they showed the images to suspected al Qaeda operatives implicated in murdering 3,000 innocent men, women, and children on American soil.

Where is the concern for the safety of these American officers and their families? Where’s the outrage from all the indignant supporters of former CIA agent Valerie Plame, whose name was leaked by Bush State Department official Richard Armitage to the late Robert Novak? Lefties swung their nooses for years over the disclosure, citing federal laws prohibiting the sharing of classified information and proscribing anyone from unauthorized exposure of undercover intelligence agents.

ACLU executive director Anthony Romero refused to comment on Project CIA Paparazzi and instead whined some more about the evil Bush/CIA interrogators. Left-wing commentators and distraction artists are dutifully up in arms about such “inhumane” tactics as blowing cigar smoke in the faces of Gitmo detainees. But it’s Romero blowing unconscionable smoke:

“We are confident that no laws or regulations have been broken as we investigated the circumstances of the torture of our clients and as we have vigorously defended our clients’ interests,” he told the Post. “Rather than investigate the CIA officials who undertook the torture, they are now investigating the military lawyers who have courageously stepped up to defend these clients in these sham proceedings.”

Courage? What tools and fools these jihadi-enablers be. Civil liberties opportunism is literally a part of the al Qaeda handbook. A terrorist manual seized in a Manchester, England raid in 2005 advised operatives: “At the beginning of the trial … the brothers must insist on proving that torture was inflicted on them by state security before the judge. Complain of mistreatment while in prison.” Jihadi commanders rehearsed the lines with their foot soldiers “to ensure that they have assimilated it.”

Since 9/11, the selective champions of privacy have recklessly blabbed about counterterrorism operations, endangered the lives of military and intelligence officials at Gitmo, and undermined national security through endless litigation. They accused Bush immigration officials of xenophobia for pursuing visa overstayers from jihadi-friendly countries. They accused local law enforcement, FBI, and other homeland security officials of “racial profiling” for placing heightened scrutiny on mosques and jihadi-linked charities.

Now, caught red-handed blowing the cover of CIA operatives, they shrug their shoulders and dismiss it as “normal” research on behalf of “our clients.”

But don’t you dare question their love of country. Spying to stop the next 9/11 is treason, you see. Spying to stop enhanced interrogation on Gitmo detainees is patriotic. And endangering America on behalf of international human rights is the ultimate form of leftist dissent.

Dear Friends... we are in mortal conflict within our own borders... from the agents of the ACLU.

Brian's Blast post

...In an interview released today by Digg and the Wall Street Journal, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner was pressured about the growing popular movement to Audit the Fed spearheaded by Texas Congressman Ron Paul. A visibly uncomfortable Geithner attempts to dismiss the question by stating “I’m sure people understand that you want to keep politics out of monetary policy.” When Geithner is again pressed on the issue, he makes the stunning assertion that conducting an audit of the Federal Reserve—something never before done in its 96 year history—is a “line that we don’t want to cross,” proclaiming that such a move would be “problematic for the country.”

If you get to watch the interview, it's at about the one and a half minute mark that Tim makes the "don't want to go there" statement.

And... listening to him say that you really don't want the government meddling in financial policy... then to see his government not just meddling in financial policy but also trying to dominate and control financial policy... is stunningly disingenuous.

Watch just the first two minutes if nothing else... be prepared to have someone help you pick your jaw up from off the floor!

The Apostle Paul explained the perspective this way:
"Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence. Military planning for possible H1N1 outbreak
Here is some articles of extreme importance. The first article by Paul Joseph Watson is an over view of an article from cnn. Now why is it that they are setting up this scenario. My guess is to desensitize us to the military presence.

By the way It is not the military's job to perform law enforcement duties that is against the law.
According to a CNN report, the military will assist civilian authorities in the event of a significant swine flu outbreak in the U.S. this fall, stoking fears that the pandemic, which has claimed relatively few lives so far, will be used as an excuse to implement martial law and a mandatory vaccination program...
Here is a little snap shot of government run health care coming from the UK.

This is the legacy that Ted Kennedy tried to leave America with, a government run health care system... no thanks Ted... but this is a very fitting article commemorating your departure... to what might have been if you could have figured out a way to shove your vision of Camelot down our throats.

The babies born in hospital corridors: Bed shortage forces 4,000 mothers to give birth in lifts, offices and hospital toilets

Thousands of women are having to give birth outside maternity wards because of a lack of midwives and hospital beds.

The lives of mothers and babies are being put at risk as births in locations ranging from lifts to toilets - even a caravan - went up 15 per cent last year to almost 4,000.

Health chiefs admit a lack of maternity beds is partly to blame for the crisis, with hundreds of women in labour being turned away from hospitals because they are full.

Latest figures show that over the past two years there were at least:

* 63 births in ambulances and 608 in transit to hospitals;
* 117 births in A&E departments, four in minor injury units and two in medical assessment areas;
* 115 births on other hospital wards and 36 in other unspecified areas including corridors;
* 399 in parts of maternity units other than labour beds, including postnatal and antenatal wards and reception areas.

Additionally, overstretched maternity units shut their doors to any more women in labour on 553 occasions last year.

Babies were born in offices, lifts, toilets and a caravan, according to the Freedom of Information data for 2007 and 2008 from 117 out of 147 trusts which provide maternity services.....

If you don’t go to God’s house, why should He go to yours?

I often hear folks rationalize why they don’t come to God’s house on Sunday or Wednesday nights or even Sunday mornings, and I think, “How sad to miss an opportunity to respond to the Heavenly Father’s invitation to spend time with Him.”

Some ask, “Why come when only a few attend anyway?”

The writer of Hebrews answers the question well with these words:
“Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised); And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:23-25)
In this day and age in which we live, we each need all the encouraging we can get.

"God, thank You for letting me come into Your presence anytime and anywhere. But … I also thank you for letting me live in a country where I can gather with believers in Your house and worship with freedom.
Amen."

Encourage someone today with your faith.

If you have ever wondered where the concept of "political correctness" came from then this video on Pajamas Media TV is a MUST VIEW!

Bill Whittle is on fire as he explains the background and purpose of this very effective effort at tearing down the western world's way of life... that is... your life and mine.

Sorry that I can't post the video itself, but the link will take you directly to the video.

I saw these numbers on the Drudge site. Vickie sent them to me so I got to thinking that they are worth sharing here as well!

Just in case you don't really understand what you are seeing please allow me to interpret a little for you... there is a major revolution taking place in the "information" industry in America.

People are turning away from the established MSM and turning to alternate and conservative sources for their information. The MSM is fast losing any credibility of being "objective" in their reporting.

The word is revolution.

This received from Cliff... an ol' Ark. Patriot.

I did check it out on the "snopes" site and it is verified here if you care to check.

A pretty sobering read... coming from a physician who takes the Hippocratic Oath seriously.

THE ONE WORD TO DESCRIBE OBAMACARE

Written by Dr. Dave Janda
Thursday, 23 July 2009

As a physician who has authored books on preventative health care, I was given the opportunity to be the keynote speaker at a Congressional Dinner at The Capitol Building in Washington last Friday (7/17).

The presentation was entitled Health Care Reform, The Power & Profit of Prevention, and I was gratified that it was well received.

In preparation for the presentation, I read the latest version of "reform" as authored by The Obama Administration and supported by Speaker Pelosi and Senator Reid. Here is the link to the 1,018 page document:
http://edlabor.house.gov/documents/111/pdf/publications/AAHCA-BillText-071409.pdf

Let me summarize just a few salient points of the above plan. First, however, it should be clear that the same warning notice must be placed on The ObamaCare Plan as on a pack of cigarettes: "Consuming this product will be hazardous to your health."

The underlying method of cutting costs throughout the plan is based on rationing and denying care. There is no focus on preventing health care need whatever. The plan's method is the most inhumane and unethical approach to cutting costs I can imagine as a physician.

The rationing of care is implemented through The National Health Care Board, according to the plan. This illustrious Board "will approve or reject treatment for patients based on the cost per treatment divided by the number of years the patient will benefit from the treatment."

Translation.....if you are over 65 or have been recently diagnosed as having an advanced form of cardiac disease or aggressive cancer..........dream on if you think you will get treated..............pick out your coffin.

Oh, you say this could never happen? Sorry.... this is the same model they use in Britain.

The plan mandates that there will be little or no advanced treatments to be available in the future. It creates The Federal Coordinating Council For Comparative Effectiveness Research, the purpose of which is.......... "to slow the development of new medications and technologies in order to reduce costs."

Yes, this is to be the law.

The plan also outlines that doctors and hospitals will be overseen and reviewed by The National Coordinator For Health Information and Technology. This " coordinator" will "monitor treatments being delivered to make sure doctors and hospitals are strictly following government guidelines that are deemed appropriate."

It goes on to say....."Doctors and hospitals not adhering to guidelines will face penalties." According to those in Congress, penalties could include large six figure financial fines and possible imprisonment.

So according to The ObamaCare Plan....if your doctor saves your life you might have to go to the prison to see your doctor for follow -up appointments. I believe this is the same model Stalin used in the former Soviet Union.

Section 102 has the Orwellian title, "Protecting the Choice to Keep Current Coverage." What this section really mandates is that it is illegal to keep your private insurance if your status changes - e.g., if you lose or change your job, retire from your job and become a senior, graduate from college and get your first job................. Yes, illegal.

When Mr. Obama hosted a conference call with bloggers urging them to pressure Congress to pass his health plan as soon as possible,.........a blogger from Maine referenced an Investors Business Daily article that claimed Section 102 of the House health legislation would outlaw private insurance.

He asked: "Is this true? Will people be able to keep their insurance and will insurers be able to write new policies even though H.R. 3200 is passed?" ... Mr. Obama replied: "You know, I have to say that I am not familiar with the provision you are talking about."

Then there is Section 1233 of The ObamaCare Plan, devoted to............ "Advanced Care Planning." After each American turns 65 years of age they have to go to a mandated counseling program that is designed to end life sooner.

This session is to occur every 5 years unless the person has developed a chronic illness then it must be done every year. The topics in this session will include;....... "how to decline hydration, nutrition and how to initiate hospice care." It is no wonder The Obama Administration does not like my emphasis on Prevention. For Mr. Obama, prevention is the "enemy" as people would live longer.

I rest my case. The ObamaCare Plan is hazardous to the health of every American.

After I finished my Capitol Hill presentation, I was asked by a Congressman in the question-answer session: "I'll be doing a number of network interviews on the Obama Health Care Plan. If I am asked what is the one word to describe the plan what should I answer."

The answer is simple, honest, direct, analytical, sad but truthful. I told him that one word is

"FASCIST."

“Right Wing” Blogger was allegedly trained by the FBI
This article is troubling to say the least. If these reports are accurate we had better be very careful who we confide in. Plants among us to cause us problems. Can anyone say Benedict Arnold.

The strange case of blogger Hal Turner may offer the American people an opportunity to better understand the concept of a government controlling its own opposition. Turner is facing federal charges for allegedly making threats against federal judges and state lawmakers, but his case — regardless of its outcome — raises fundamental questions about the state of the nation...
The question should be who is the real enemy? We had better pray for discernment and put our feet to the ground. Once we loose ground on our liberty it will be three times as hard to get it back. We must be proactive and not reactive. We must have a revolution peacefully by being well informed and then voting for the Republic.

“He was so benevolent, so merciful a man that he would have held an umbrella over a duck in a shower of rain.”
(Douglas William Jerrold)

One thing that would be said of a kind person is “He is one odd duck.” In many cases today, it is strange to see someone being kind, much less so compassionate.

May we attract attention with our acts of kindness today. If we really want to be strange, all we have to do is follow Jesus' advice:
“But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.”
(Matthew 6:35-36)

"God, let me learn to have Your compassion and Your willingness to show kindness even to my enemies.
Amen."

In Herman Melville's book "White Jacket" that he wrote in 1850, before he wrote "Moby Dick, he shares the following challenge.

It is almost an eerie challenge that seems quite appropriate for our day and time... almost prophetic in it's appeal for Americans to see the value of the American dream.

Many opine that the dream is dead... yet... in the heart of every believer is not only the desire for freedom, but a passion for that same freedom for all humanity.

Could we hear this voice from the past... today?

Escaped from the house of bondage, Israel of old did not follow after the ways of the Egyptians. To her was given an express dispensation; to her were given new things under the sun. And we Americans are the peculiar, chosen people--the Israel of our time; we bear the ark of the liberties of the world.

Seventy years ago we escaped from thrall; and, besides our first birthright-- embracing one continent of earth--God has given to us, for a future inheritance, the broad domains of the political pagans, that shall yet come and lie down under the shade of our ark, without bloody hands being lifted. God has predestinated, mankind expects, great things from our race; and great things we feel in our souls. The rest of the nations must soon be in our rear. We are the pioneers of the world; the advance-guard, sent on through the wilderness of untried things, to break a new path
in the New World that is ours.

In our youth is our strength; in our inexperience, our wisdom. At a period when other nations have but lisped, our deep voice is heard afar. Long enough, have we been skeptics with regard to ourselves, and doubted whether, indeed, the political Messiah had come. But he has come in us, if we would but give utterance to his promptings.

And let us always remember that with ourselves, almost for the first time in the history of earth, national selfishness is unbounded philanthropy; for we can not do a good to America but we give alms to the world.

"Long enough, have we been skeptics with regard to ourselves, and doubted whether, indeed, the political Messiah had come. But he has come in us..."

Consider and ponder this.

Adams Sacks at Grist.com has finally come out of the climate activist's closet and publicly admitted what the activists really desire but were not willing to admit before.

We must turn our backs on the last 10,000 years of human development. We must revert back to being hunters and gatherers... in other words he actually says we must go back to a cave man existence for the sake of 'sustainability.'

Now... when you hear the climate activists speak of 'sustainability' you will know what they are really talking about.

....We must leave behind 10,000 years of civilization; this may be the hardest collective task we’ve ever faced. It has given us the intoxicating power to create planetary changes in 200 years that under natural cycles require hundreds of thousands or millions of years—but none of the wisdom necessary to keep this Pandora’s Box tightly shut. We have to discover and re-discover other ways of living on earth.

We love our cars, our electricity, our iPods, our theme parks, our bananas, our Nikes, and our nukes, but we behave as if we understand nothing of the land and water and air that gives us life. It is past time to think and act differently.

If we live at all, we will have to figure out how to live locally and sustainably. Living locally means we are able get everything we need within walking (or animal riding) distance. We may eventually figure out sustainable ways of moving beyond those small circles to bring things home, but our track record isn’t good and we’d better think it through very carefully.

Likewise, any technology has to be locally based, using local resources and accessible tools, renewable and non-toxic. We have much re-thinking to do, and re-learning from our hunter-gatherer forebears who managed to survive for a couple of hundred thousand years in ways that we with our civilized blinders we can barely imagine or understand....

We all better start looking for a cave... uhhhh... how many caves are there?

C. S. Johnson shares this family lesson: “My son, Michael, was four years old the night I found him sobbing uncontrollably in the hallway. Concerned, I knelt next to him and drew him close.

“What’s the matter, sweetheart? Are you hurt?"

He shook his head and turned to me, but I was unprepared for his response. “Daddy said a bad word to me!" he sobbed.

I almost laughed out loud. I had known my husband 12 years and had rarely heard him raise his voice. But Michael had heard him say something, and I was curious enough to want to know what it was. “ ‘Honey, what bad word did Daddy say?"

Seeing a chance for sympathy, my sensitive four-year-old stopped crying and blurted out, "Obey!"

“I never think of that incident now without asking my Heavenly Father to keep me from believing, as my son did, that ‘obey’ is a bad word.”

"God, may my walk with You be in obedience, not only in carrying out the letter of the law, but also in sharing the spirit of Your intent.
Amen."

The story was taught to me this way when in High School.

A gentleman asked a lady one day if she would sleep with him for a sum of $1,000,000?

She thought about it for a brief moment, and asked if he was serious about $1,000,000 for just one... event. The man assured her that he was only interested in one event with her and that he was serious about paying her $1,000,000 dollars for that one event.

She though about it for another moment and then replied with a shy smile... "OK! $1,000,000 for one encounter! Are you ready now?"

The man hesitated a moment then said, "Well, how about going to bed with me for $25?"

She responded, "$25!!! Are you kidding me!!! WHAT DO I LOOK LIKE TO YOU... SOME KIND OF A TWO BIT WHORE???!!!"

The gentleman replied, "Lady, we've already established that you are a whore... now we are just negotiating the price."

Report: Letter Shows British Prime Minister, Libyan Leader Discussed Details of Lockerbie Bomber Release Weeks Ago

Sunday, August 23, 2009

LONDON — British Prime Minister Gordon Brown reportedly discussed details on conditions for the release of convicted Lockerbie bomber Abdel Baset al-Megrahi with Libyan leader Colonel Muammar al-Qaddafi nearly six weeks ago.

A letter sent from Brown's office to Qaddafi on the day al-Megrahi was released asked that the return of the Libyan convicted of killing 270 people in the 1988 Pan Am bombing be kept low key out of concern for his victims and their families, the Guardian reported.

The letter also refers to a conversation between the two leaders at the G8 summit in Italy six weeks ago where Brown writes that he "stressed that, should the Scottish executive decide that Megrahi can return to Libya, this should be a purely private family occasion," the Guardian reported.....

“Alas for those who never sing, but die with all their music in them.” (Oliver Wendell Holmes)
If you never sing, you may be cheating me or someone else out of a blessing.

What song have you stifled that may open someone’s heart because of your struggles? If no one else cares, sing unto the Lord.

The writer of Psalms 13:6 gives this word to us:
“I will sing unto the Lord for He has dealt bountifully with me.”

"God, I give praise to You and may it be a sweet savor rising up to You even if no one else hears.

Saturday, August 22nd. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

“A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops.”
(Henry Brooks Adams)

Think of all that you have learned in your life that was taught by your teachers, and think how those lessons continue to influence others beyond our generation. Now think about things you have taught others, either good or bad, and the long-reaching affect those lessons can and will have.

May the words of Psalm 12:6 give us a guideline to our words:
“The words of The Lord are pure words; as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.”

If we applied these words to our own lives, how precious would our wisdom to the next generations be then?

"God, purify my heart and words that they might be of true value to others.
Amen."

Friday, August 21st. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

"A person with six children is better satisfied than a person with $6 million. Reason: The man with $6 million wants more."

Psalm 127:3-5 tells us,“Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.”

Children are special blessings. Whether we have one or many, they bring us much satisfaction. On the other hand, money or riches only makes many folks want for more worldly gain.

"God, Thank You for my children and grandchildren. They have been a blessing to me. Amen."

Sue M. sent this to me today. I heard similar once told of a famous theologian that the question was asked what was the most profound thought he had ever contemplated in his life. His response was the same as the following 92 year old preacher.

92 Year Old Preacher

While watching a little TV on Sunday instead of going to church, I watched a church in Atlanta honoring one of its senior pastors who had been retired many years. He was 92 at that time and I wondered why the church even bothered to ask the old gentleman to preach at that age.

After a warm welcome, introduction of this speaker, and as the applause quieted down, he rose from his high back chair and walked slowly, with great effort and a sliding gait to the podium. Without a note or written paper of any kind he placed both hands on the pulpit to steady himself and then quietly and slowly he began to speak....

"When I was asked to come here today and talk to you, your pastor asked me to tell you what was the greatest lesson ever learned in my 50-odd years of preaching. I thought about it for a few days and boiled it down to just one thing that made the most difference in my life and sustained me through all my trials. The one thing that I could always rely on when tears and heartbreak and pain and fear and sorrow paralyzed me.... the only thing that would comfort was this verse........
"Jesus loves me this I know.
For the Bible tells me so.
Little ones to Him belong,
we are weak but He is strong.....
Yes, Jesus loves me....
The Bible tells me so."

When he finished, the church was quiet. You actually could hear his foot steps as he shuffled back to his chair.. I don't believe I will ever forget it.

Thanks Sue!

Brutally Honest has the story from Big Hollywood and above is the interview segment where Gred Leipold, former Greenpeace leader is forced to admit that they are quite willing to lie like dogs and actually admits to purposely "emotionalizing" the "global warming" hysteria, to advance their goals. An amazing, yet welcome, admission from Greenpeace's former leader.

The outgoing leader of Greenpeace has admitted his organization’s recent claim that the Arctic Ice will disappear by 2030 was “a mistake.” Greenpeace made the claim in a July 15 press release entitled “Urgent Action Needed As Arctic Ice Melts,” which said there will be an ice-free Arctic by 2030 because of global warming.

Under close questioning by BBC reporter Stephen Sackur on the “Hardtalk” program, Gerd Leipold, the retiring leader of Greenpeace, said the claim was wrong.

“I don’t think it will be melting by 2030. … That may have been a mistake,” he said.

Sackur said the claim was inaccurate on two fronts, pointing out that the Arctic ice is a mass of 1.6 million square kilometers with a thickness of 3 km in the middle, and that it had survived much warmer periods in history than the present.

The BBC reporter accused Leipold and Greenpeace of releasing “misleading information” and using “exaggeration and alarmism.”

Leipold’s admission that Greenpeace issued misleading information is a major embarrassment to the organization, which often has been accused of alarmism but has always insisted that it applies full scientific rigor in its global-warming pronouncements.

Although he admitted Greenpeace had released inaccurate but alarming information, Leipold defended the organization’s practice of “emotionalizing issues” in order to bring the public around to its way of thinking and alter public opinion.

Leipold said later in the BBC interview that there is an urgent need for the suppression of economic growth in the United States and around the world. He said annual growth rates of 3 percent to 8 percent cannot continue without serious consequences for the climate.

“We will definitely have to move to a different concept of growth. … The lifestyle of the rich in the world is not a sustainable model,” Leipold said. “If you take the lifestyle, its cost on the environment, and you multiply it with the billions of people and an increasing world population, you come up with numbers which are truly scary.”

And of course Leipold also admits that Greenpeace wants to limit the growth of humanity for the sake of the planet.

These people and those like them are simply monsters... I mean literal monsters that would slaughter humans by the millions.

You won't find a better horror story anywhere on the planet. Steven King couldn't top this one.

It's just a little ironic to me that I would receive an e-mail from a wonderful young lady serving our Lord in India and her "Tea Party" account... esp. after my previous video post about one tea party here in America.

I've known this young lady... all her life you might say.

Today I had somewhat of an epiphany... It really reminded me of why I am here. So, today we were having problems with the internet. This is nothing new... our internet is off almost as often as it is on! But it is frustrating.

Weekly we have to call the guys to come fix it. Sometimes it takes hours or even a few days before it starts working. Honestly, I am not very patient with them. It is hard for me to believe that this company sends guys who don't know anything about computers to try to fix the internet. But, most of them don't have the means to own a computer.

So today, i sat there, annoyed that it took them two hours to come to my house... This time they sent a young guy, and the same two older guy that always come. When they finally fixed it, I was not even that thankful, i sort of figured it is their job, and I "deserve" to have internet working all the time.

Then their boss called to make sure everything was ok, and he told me that there is a strike going on, and these guys had come on the day they did not have to work just to fix our internet. I could not believe that these guys had come even when they did not have to... So i sat around the table for a few more minutes, and one of the older guys joked that they wanted to try the black coffee they had seen me drinking before.

I asked if they wanted me to make some, and after doing the cultural saying "No" twice, on third time i asked his face lit up and he said, "YES!" These guys had never seen a coffee pot, and Indian "coffee" is instant, with lots of milk and sugar, so i warned them that this was not the same. They still wanted to try it.

As the coffee aroma filled the air, i started laughing in my head about how much I was loving serving these people, even in the little things like making coffee. I made them drink it first the BEST way, with no sugar and no cream, and they all three made funny faces! I loved it! then i offered them some sugar and creamer and they liked that much more!

I laughed because it made me think of all the times that people have made me eat weird foods and drink really strange concoctions in their homes. I try to not have the "wow, this tastes BAD" look on my face, but sometimes it slips out! Then I gave these guys some banana bread, and they could not believe that I could cook. Most Indians don't have an oven, so they only get breads and cakes from bakeries.

I shared with these guys about J'sus and how I only pr to him and he is faithful to provide what I need and he forgives me when i do wrong. They did not really understand, they are still blinded by Hindu'ism, but I at least planted a seed in their hearts.

We hung out for a while laughing and drinking some amazing hazelnut blend, and then one of the older guys went to call someone on the phone. I thought it was work related, but as I heard what he said, i realized it must be a buddy or his wife or something. He was telling her about the American Coffee and banana cake that he had just had! he was so proud that he had tried the American snacks.... and he said that he really liked these girls at this house.

When i heard him say that, i almost cried. I have been so mean to these guys over the past months, just because i am so annoyed at the internet and how it does not work. Every time they have come, i criticized their company and the poor quality of internet. Yet, with one act of Jes'us love, He did not see the girl with a temper that gets upset about something that seems so unimportant to an older Indian man.... but they saw Jes'us, serving coffee and a little cake.

I don't write this to make myself look like I did something amazing with my little "tea party", because i didn't... i just did what i was called here to do... serve the lord with a smile, not demanding my own interests, but looking to the needs of others.

I spent the rest of the day with a little bit of a giggle thinking about the funny old men's face when they drank the coffee the way i do!

Thanks for continuing to lift us up... we really need your pr-yers these last months. There is so much to do and so little time. Thanks for being involved with our project through pr-yer. You are appreciated more than you know! more to come when we reach the next milestone in our project....

Turning Uncle Sam into Peeping Tom
Another target of Obamacare: Americans’ right to financial privacy.

By Diana Furchtgott-Roth

Buried in the 1,017 pages of the House Democrats’ health-care bill is a little-noticed provision that for the first time could give the government access to the checking or credit-card information of every American. Under section 163, which is entitled “Administrative Simplification,” the bill sets new “standards” for electronic transactions between individuals and their health-care providers.

According to section 163, the standards will “enable the real-time (or near real-time) determination of an individual’s financial responsibility at the point of service . . . ” In addition, they will “enable electronic funds transfers, in order to allow automated reconciliation with related health care payment and remittance advice.”

What is envisioned is a “machine-readable health plan beneficiary card” that, in addition to information about a person’s medical history, will contain checking-account or credit-card information, so as to allow electronic payments and, if a person is lucky, occasional remittances. Since under the proposed legislation everyone would be required to have health insurance, all Americans would have to provide this information.

The required collection of such data is unprecedented. At no other time has the government sought to collect this type of financial information from everyone in America....
Sooo... now the liberal congressmen are demanding financial disclosure from insurance companies... with no explanation why or for what purpose?

Now... since when did our countries elected officials take upon themselves the authority to demand this kind of information from private companies? I'm sorry, but this is not the job of the legislative branch of our nation. If anything it should be a job for the judicial branch.

This type of information should only be required to be given if there is a legal warrant issued from a court. This is the type of requirement that only a "criminal" investigation can demand.

It is illegal and unconstitutional.

Those demanding this should immediately be impeached.

Health Insurers Fear Probe By House Dems Is Reprisal for Opposing Part of Obama's Plan

Reps. Henry Waxman, D-Calif., and Bart Stupak, D-Mich., sent a letter warning health insurers that the House Energy and Commerce Committee is "examining executive compensation and other business practices of the health industry."

In a move some fear is a reprisal for opposing President Obama's health care plan, Democrats sent 52 letters to health insurers requesting financial records for a House committee's investigation.

Reps. Henry Waxman, D-Calif., and Bart Stupak, D-Mich., sent a letter warning health insurers that the House Energy and Commerce Committee is "examining executive compensation and other business practices of the health industry."

Waxman, chairman of the committee, and Stupak, chairman of the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee did not inform their Republican counterparts of their plans.

Health insurers have until Sept. 4 to provide Congress a detailed list of every employee who made over a $1 million dollars a year between 2003 and 2008. Democrats also want documents about conferences and any events held off company property as well as the types of transportation, lodging, food, entertainment and even gifts exchanged.

Raising the intimidation stakes: the Waxman letter offers insurers no explanation of what is being investigated or why.....

Thursday, August 20th. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

They were burying a rather unsavory character who had never been near a place of worship in his life. The services were being conducted by a minister who had never heard of him. Carried away by the occasion, the minister poured on praise for the departed man. After ten minutes of describing the late lamented as a father, husband, and boss, the widow, whose expression had grown more and more puzzled, nudged her son and whispered, “Go up there and make sure it’s Papa.”

Seldom does anyone really remember what the minister says at a funeral the individual has written his or her final memories long before that service comes.

Psalms 103:15 reminds us that life is short with these words:
“As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.”

We must live daily, writing the final chapter of our life story.

"God, let my story be a pure reflection of Your presence in my life.
Amen."
