Saturday, August 22nd. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

“A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops.”
(Henry Brooks Adams)

Think of all that you have learned in your life that was taught by your teachers, and think how those lessons continue to influence others beyond our generation. Now think about things you have taught others, either good or bad, and the long-reaching affect those lessons can and will have.

May the words of Psalm 12:6 give us a guideline to our words:
“The words of The Lord are pure words; as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.”

If we applied these words to our own lives, how precious would our wisdom to the next generations be then?

"God, purify my heart and words that they might be of true value to others.
Amen."

Walk in His presence always.
