Yahweh, Day 122

Day 122, Yahweh: Ways That Are Just

"Pay attention, heavens, and I will speak; listen, earth, to the words of my mouth. 2 Let my teaching fall like rain and my word settle like dew, like gentle rain on new grass and showers on tender plants. 3 For I will proclaim the Lord's name. Declare the greatness of our God! 4 The Rock-His work is perfect; all His ways are entirely just. A faithful God, without prejudice, He is righteous and true."
Deuteronomy 32:1-5 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)

One must understand that Yahweh dwells in... Eternity.

For us, eternity, is a difficult concept to grasp... but to understand the justness of God we must place God's justice in His eternal character and His eternal purpose.

If you will... 1John speaks to this justice.

"Dear friends, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him as He is."
1John 3:2 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)

The justness of Yahweh will not be finally realized until we inhabit His eternity... with Him. He is The Rock.

It is in The Name.

“A good man makes no noise over a good deed, but passes on to another as a vine to bear grapes again in season”  (Marcus Aurelius Antoninus  121–180).
You’ll not have to brag on yourself when it is your first nature to do the right thing. I have watched as quiet men let their works speak for themselves, and we have all been blessed by their actions. The writer of James 5:12 gives us this advice: “Let your yea be yea and your nay be nay.” When we do that, our actions will speak louder than words.
God, let us live daily pointing others to You.  Amen.

Yahweh, Day 121

Day 121, Yahweh: His Work is Perfect
"Pay attention, heavens, and I will speak; listen, earth, to the words of my mouth. 2 Let my teaching fall like rain and my word settle like dew, like gentle rain on new grass and showers on tender plants. 3 For I will proclaim the Lord's name. Declare the greatness of our God! 4 The Rock-His work is perfect; all His ways are entirely just. A faithful God, without prejudice, He is righteous and true."
Deuteronomy 32:1-5 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)
The Work of Yahweh is Perfect.  The Hebrew word, perfect, describes wholeness and completion.  There is the reality that in this song of Moses ... Moses is seeing the future work of Yahweh in providing salvation through His Messiah.
The Law had been delivered.  Man would surly fail the test of the Righteous Law. Yahweh would not.  The Great Messiah would not stop until the work was finished ... in total.  “It is finished!”
It is in The Name.
Intercessory Prayer:  Oh Father!  You sacrificed Your Only Begotten for sinners such as I!  You have more than made a Name for Yourself!  Hallelujah!  In Jesus Name.  Amen.

“Every experience God gives us, every person he puts in our lives, is the perfect preparation for the future that only he can see” (Corrie ten Boom, 1892–1983)
No man lives or dies to himself. We influence and are influenced by circumstances and chance encounters that God uses to mold us and those we meet. Even tragedies and seeming near misses are used to direct our paths as He sees fit. The apostle Paul reminds with these words in Romans 8:28: “And we know that all things work together for good to them who love God and are called according to His purpose.”
God, thank You for the opportunities You bring us through. Amen
