Humpty Dumpty Sat On A Wall....

I bet there is some gnashing and thrashing of teeth in Iran over this development!

NY Times article
Iran told atomic inspectors this week that it had run into a serious problem at a newly completed nuclear reactor that was supposed to start feeding electricity into the national grid this month, raising questions about whether the trouble was sabotage, a startup problem, or possibly the beginning of the project’s end.

In a report on Friday, the International Atomic Energy Agency said Iran told inspectors on Wednesday that it was planning to unload nuclear fuel from its Bushehr reactor — the sign of a major upset. For years, Tehran has hailed the reactor as a showcase of its peaceful nuclear intentions and its imminent startup as a sign of quickening progress.

But nuclear experts said the giant reactor, Iran’s first nuclear power plant, now threatens to become a major embarrassment, as engineers remove 163 fuel rods from its core.

Iran gave no reason for the unexpected fuel unloading, but it has previously admitted that the Stuxnet computer worm infected the Bushehr reactor. On Friday, computer experts debated whether Stuxnet was responsible for the surprising development. ......

Just a little gratifying to see.

Who are the Muslim Brothers?

Here is a good explanation as to who and what the group in Egypt is... and what they are doing.

Egypt's largest, best-organized opposition movement wants to first prepare society, and then found a Koranic state.

As the Egyptian popular uprising enters its seventh day on Monday, all eyes are on the Muslim Brothers, the country’s largest and best-organized opposition movement, to see how it will try to leverage the crisis to further its goal of rising to power.
...
The Brotherhood views secular Arab regimes as the foremost obstacle to setting up a state it believes has been ordained by the Koran. These ideas have been expressed most virulently by Islamist ideologue Sayyid Qutb, who was executed in Egypt in 1966.

The Brotherhood’s ideology has placed it on a collision path with the Egyptian state for more than 60 years, forcing it to come up with a pragmatic, slowmoving tactical road map, that seeks to work within the current political order in order to undermine it.

The Muslim Brothers share the goal of Islamist sovereignty with the global jihadi movement, led by al-Qaida, but the Brothers scorn the tactics of the jihadis, which they view as counterproductive.

As the Brotherhood evolved in Egypt and then spread to other Arab countries, and beyond, its ideologues came to believe that instant jihad was useless so long as the masses were not “properly” following Islam.

There would be no point in establishing an Islamic state, they reasoned, if an Islamic nation following their ideology did not first exist to populate it.

The Muslim Brothers therefore dedicated themselves to spreading their ideology and interpretation of Islam throughout society, a process they call Da’wa, and have used charities, clinics and social aid networks to spread their ideas and prepare the public for the implementation of a Koranic state.....

There's No Abe Lincoln in the Muslim Hood

I've waited to run with the Egypt event. This post by James Lewis covers the political background to these current events.

You will need to go to the link and read it all.

This from The American Thinker

Today, Egypt is under assault by the fascist Muslim Brotherhood, which is pushing that old IAEA crook, Mohammed ElBaradei, who lied to the world about the development of Iranian nuclear weapons, for which he received a Nobel Peace Prize.

This guy's a jewel.

ElBaradei may be the figurehead of a new regime, but the Hoods will be in charge. The only "moderate" in sight is the president of Egypt, Mubarak, who is not very moderate, either -- except compared to all the others. And, of course, the Useful Idiot Brigade is in full hue and cry, cheering for all the wrong sides.

When Jimmy Carter brought the first really suicidal Islamic fanatics to power in Tehran in 1979, he was facing exactly the same correlation of forces. And he totally misread them. Andrew Young has written that the Carter State Dept. thought Ayatollah Khomeini was "some kind of saint." This kind of saint had his hands deep in the blood of innocents long before he took over in Tehran. Then he got into a martyrdom war with Saddam that killed a million people. Does anybody remember that?

The Carter White House had its head so deep in the cloacal darkness that it made all the wrong decisions. Luckily, our cookies were saved by Ronald Reagan the next time the American people got a chance to vote. After that election, even before Reagan moved into the White House, the bloodstained ayatollah released his American diplomatic hostages, because Khomeini knew a president who was not a Useful Idiot. So he backed off, pronto.

Carter was helpless in Iran because he felt so guilty about what the CIA did to Mossadegh in 1954, twenty-five years before, when Stalin was alive and the Cold War looked to be going nuclear any day. Jimmy was ably assisted by Zbigniew Brzezinski in sabotaging the world's sanity and security.

Today, both of those colluders with unalloyed evil still maintain their innocence before the entire world, even as Ahmadinejad storms toward nuclear weapons. Carter and Brzezinski are highly respected senior statesmen of the ever-gullible left.

Will Iranian nukes explode by 2012 or 2015? That's the biggest debate today. And no sane person has any doubts as to where those nukes are going. Thank you, Jimmy!

As soon A'jad gets his hands on nukes, the world will see a completely unprecedented thing: an ideological suicide regime, like the Heavenly Nipponese Empire in World War II, equipped with nuclear weapons and fifteen-minute long-range missiles. Neither Tojo nor Hitler would have surrendered if he'd had those weapons. Today we would still see Nazis goose-stepping in Berlin and imperial soldiers parading in Tokyo. .....

In the absence of leadership, voids are filled with fundamentalism

No need of comment from me... I again present you The Borg Conspiracy today!

Voids are appearing all over the middle east. From Lebanon to Tunisia, from Egypt to Jordan, from Yemen to the Sudan. These voids are being created by a quantum shift in geopolitical realities, set into motion by actions and lack of action on the part of the rest of the world. The middle east is in the midst of being transfigured into a new regional reality based upon the rise of an enriched and beligerant Islamic leadership.

In the absence of leadership, voids are created and ultimately those voids are filled by those willing to assume the power. America and to a lesser extent the west, have stood as the counter balance to the tribalism of Muslim Africa and most of middle eastern Asia since the end of WWII.

When the last great world war ended, the world was quite a different place. The sands of Arabia and Persia and northern Africa were not that far removed from the Bedouin herders and tribesman who had inhabited the region since biblical times. But something changed and the something that changed was oil and the massive wealth that followed.

Over the course of the last seventy years, the world has enriched and transformed the middle east and northern Africa with our petro dollars and the wealth of these former territories of abject squalor, is now being brought to bear to fulfill the directives of Sharia Islam and the Quran.

Make no mistake, Islam has been at war with the west and the infidel for a thousand years, but they haven't really had the means or ability to carry forth that war on any winnable scale. Now they have the means to produce the scale of war that can defeat their enemies and we have provided it to them.

As the wildfire of militant Islam consumes the middle east, there will be those who will call for peace, moderation and compromise. These voices will call for a return to the supposed peaceful tenants and teachings of the prophet. But what will soon be realized by those who are observant, is that there is no peace in Islam, as there truly isn't any militancy once you understand it.

What the west confuses for militancy is in reality fundamentalism. Muslims who are practicing and following Jihad against the west are not practicing militancy, they are practicing fundamentalism. They are following what 'their book' tells them is the path to righteousness.

So as each of these states and kingdoms falls and each are replaced with what we consider militant radicalism, just remember this. These Muslims are not being radicalized, they are being led back to the true nature of their religion and it's teachings.

The world is not seeing the rise of Islamic militancy, the world is seeing the rise of Islam as it truly is. And we have financed it and allowed it to happen.

If the adherents of a religion cannot make it a truly "peaceful" religion... then they obviously will try to pass laws that would make it illegal to call the said religion "non-peaceful"... and this now on a world wide scale.

... So it goes kind of like this... "Ours is a religion of peace and tolerance... and if you say anything otherwise then we will lock you up in a prison for spewing hatred."

Where does logic like this come from?

One News Now
Pro-Islam U.N. resolution nearing vote

The United Nations is about to consider the "Defamation of Religions Resolution" -- but as Open Doors USA points out, the measure is really designed to protect only one religion: Islam.

The resolution, which has been floated at the U.N. in various forms for more than a decade, is touted as promoting tolerance and protecting religious freedom. "But in reality it does the exact opposite of that," explains Lindsey Vessey, a spokesperson for Open Doors USA.

"It's a resolution that is backed by the Organization of Islamic Conference States," she continues, "and it seeks to criminalize words or actions that are deemed to be against particular religions -- and of course we can guess what that is. It's particularly to protect Islam."

Vessey says the measure was originally introduced in 1999 as the "Defamation of Islam" resolution, but language was changed later to broaden its appeal. It contains multiple mentions of Islam, but only one of Christians and Jews. She explains that in its current form, it would give international legitimacy to blasphemy laws.

"So [it is] basically taking [those] laws in certain countries like Egypt and Pakistan that make it illegal to say anything negative of Islam, or anything that can even be perceived as negative of Islam and the Prophet Mohammed, ...and making that something that would be on an international scale," she says. According to Vessey, it could eventually impact the United States.

Open Doors has launched an online advocacy campaign -- "Free to Believe" -- that allows individuals to voice their opposition to the Defamation of Religions Resolution. The resolution is expected to be voted on later this week in a United Nations committee, and will likely be voted on before the General Assembly early next month.
And... how do you delude a "world body" such as the UN, that is supposed to be built on a mission for peace and tolerance... into becoming a voice and advocate for worldwide discrimination against those that simply speak the truth about the intentions... clearly taught... by an opposing group?

I don't know if you understand demonic delusion... but here it is on display for all to see... that have eyes to see.
