Day 120, Yahweh: Proclaim The Name Creation Loves
"Pay attention, heavens, and I will speak; listen, earth, to the words of my mouth. 2 Let my teaching fall like rain and my word settle like dew, like gentle rain on new grass and showers on tender plants. 3 For I will proclaim the Lord's name. Declare the greatness of our God! 4 The Rock-His work is perfect; all His ways are entirely just. A faithful God, without prejudice, He is righteous and true."
Deuteronomy 32:1-5 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)
God's Creation loves to hear and praise the Creator's Name. The book of Psalms ends with the triumphant appeal for everything with breath to praise Yahweh.
"Let everything that breathes praise the LORD. Hallelujah!"
Psalm 150:6 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)
Listen in the night as creation sings her song of praise to the creator. Hear the sounds of the night as everything that has breath rejoices in our creator. The songs of praise will fall on your heart like dew.
It is in The Name.
Intercessory Prayer: Oh Father! You alone are worthy of our praise! Hallelujah! In Jesus Name. Amen!
Thursday, March 5th, 2015. Today's cherished nugget from guest blogger, Pastor Bill.
"It is preferable to have the whole world against thee, than Jesus offended with thee" (Thomas à Kempis, c. 1380–1471).
Many times, to be right with the world puts us out of sorts with God. What does God’s Word say to us? In answer to that question, Paul's letter to the Roman church brings to mind these words: “ Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” (Romans 12:2).
God, let me be the friend to You that You are to me. Amen
