Daily Nugget
Thursday, March 5th, 2015. Today's cherished nugget
from guest blogger, Pastor Bill.
"It is preferable to have the whole world against
thee, than Jesus offended with thee" (Thomas à Kempis, c. 1380–1471).
Many times, to be right with the world puts us out of
sorts with God. What does God’s Word say to us?
In answer to that question, Paul's letter to the Roman church brings to
mind these words: “ Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by
the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable,
and perfect, will of God” (Romans 12:2).
God, let me be the friend to You that You are to me. Amen
