Yahweh: One Result of our Confession


Jonah 1:14 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)
“So they called out to the LORD: ‘Please, Yahweh, don't let us perish because of this man's life, and don't charge us with innocent blood!’”

Jonah’s confession to the sailors that his God was in fact Yahweh, brought about an interesting result from the sailors, they themselves began to confess The Name and to call upon The Name!  Our confession of The Name will likewise bring about faith in the lives of others.

King David wrote about this confessing bringing forth faith in others in Psalm 40:3, “He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the Lord.”

This, is in The Name.
