Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill

“True repentance hates the sin, and not merely the penalty; and it hates the sin most of all because it has discovered and felt God’s love” (W. M. Taylor).

When we repent of our sin and receive the mercy and forgiveness of The Holy God, we can relate to the prophet Isaiah 6:5 who said, ”  Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.”

God, thank You for your forgiveness.  Amen.
