Yahweh, Day 50

 

Day 50 Yahweh ... Loving Him

There is a responsibility for mankind ... we are to love Yahweh, and keep His commandments.

Deuteronomy 7:9 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)
"Know that Yahweh your God is God, the faithful God who keeps His gracious covenant loyalty for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commands."

We find this reiterated by the Lord Jesus in the Gospel of John 14:15.

"If you love Me, you will keep My commandments."

And what is it that Christ commands us?  Two things we will see tomorrow ... to love one another ... and to become as Christ in character.

Should these two requirements be so hard?  Who would not desire to learn them?

Intercessory Prayer:  Oh Father!  Can we learn to love?  Can love be learned?  Can we learn to love You?
