“A man's own good breeding is the best security against other people's ill manners” (Lord Chesterfield).

One's heritage is important to a certain extent, but not everyone was blessed to be born in a loving, caring, nurturing family. The good news is that by the spirit of adoption, we can be included in the family of God (Romans 8:15).  In Romans 12:22, we are reminded by the apostle Paul:  “Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
 
God, thank You that we can become a part Your family and identify with You. Amen.
