Daily Nugget

   Sunday, April 28th, 2013.  Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

Grandpap had two dogs, Holly and Louie. One time when our son Matt, then three years old, visited his grandfather, he heard him shouting, “Holly! Louie!” Matt observed, “We sing that song in church” (Dan and Debbie Gibson, Christian Reader, “Kids of the Kingdom”).

Oh, that we were found with such child-like innocence in singing and praising God. The writer of Nehemiah 12:43 says, “That day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced: for God had made them rejoice with great joy: the wives also and the children rejoiced: so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.”

God, help our praises to rise acceptable to You. Amen.
