the hole

Losing a child to death brings a myriad of emotions ...

all complicated ... all different ... all difficult.

Silent Grief speaks today about ... inside ...

When child loss occurs, life for us is never again the same. Every holiday, every vacation, every special event in life has a feeling of being "incomplete" -- there's always something missing inside that we're acutely aware of, and that something is our child. On the outside we may look fine, but inside -- deep within our soul -- there is always, always that "knowing" that our child isn't there. We never "get over" the loss of a child. We just learn now to live with the hole left by the absence of our child.

Father, Yahweh, I pray today for Silent Grief, and all who have lost a child. or a grandchild.  I pray that You will hold them as close to Your heart as You hold the child they love and lost.

Father, bless them today.

xtnyoda, shalomed
