Emotional Roller Coaster

Losing a child to death brings a myriad of emotions ...

.all complicated ... all different ... all difficult.

Silent Grief  speaks today about ... predictability....

 The emotional roller coaster associated with child loss is so unpredictable. We never know what triggers any given day will bring and how we will react. We can cry over a butterfly, an advertisement on TV, or walking inside Walmart. Reminders of our child can pop up anywhere, and we never are fully prepared for the onslaught of emotions that come bursting from our heart. We hold so much inside trying to be so "in control" and then suddenly the flood gates open and the tears flow like a river. The emotional roller coaster ride of child loss is such an exhausting ride of the unknown!

 Father, Yahweh, I pray today for Silent Grief, and all who have lost a child. or a grandchild.  I pray that You will hold them as close to Your heart as You hold the child they love and lost.

 Father, bless them today.
