Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

“God had nothing to do with it!” the scientist insisted. Birds are able to navigate when they migrate because they have a compass inside their head. That’s all. But then somebody asks these scientists writing in the current issue of the journal Nature who sets the compass to adjust for the earth’s rotation. “Well, that,” the scientist said, “that remains a mystery.”

Genesis 1:1 starts out, “In the beginning, God….” When we get that "beginning" wrong, our whole perspective is wrong. The apostle Paul in Colossians 1:16-17 says,

“For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.”
