 “Keeping from falling is better than helping up” (Unknown).

The influence we have on others can help us encourage someone to remain strong and faithful in the Lord. We must be the friend to our friends in the same way that we would want them to be our friends.

This was said of Job in Job 4:3-4: “Behold, thou hast instructed many, and thou hast strengthened the weak hands. Thy words have upholden him that was falling, and thou hast strengthened the feeble knees.”  What is this saying to us? Do our hands (and words) lift and hold up, or do they push down

God, let my words and actions encourage and lift up others for Your glory. Amen
