Daily Nugget

     Sunday,  October 20th, 2013.  Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

“One hour with God infinitely exceeds all the pleasures and delights of this lower world” (David Brainerd).

Everything in this world pales in comparison to the privilege of spending time with the Creator, the Architect of the Universe. Often I get offers to learn from some of what would be considered some of today’s best mentors at the cost of hundreds or thousands of dollars; however, we are reminded in Matthew to “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you” (6:33).   Imagine trading time with God for time with less than the best.

God,  thank You for wanting to spend time with me and letting me hang out with You. Amen.
