Daily Nugget

     Thursday,March 7th, 2013.  Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

“I consider my ability to arouse enthusiasm among my people the greatest asset I possess, and the way to develop the best that is in a person is by appreciation and encouragement” (Charles Schwab).

Charles Schwab also said, “There is nothing else that so kills the ambition of a person as criticism from superiors.”  In leaving our legacy, may we use the greatest asset we have (encouragement) to enrich our peers, employees, and last but not least, our families.

The writer of Proverbs tells us, “The merciful man doeth good to his on soul: but he that is cruel troubleth his on flesh” (11:17 ).

God, help us to bring encouragement to those around us who we influence. Amen
