Daily Nugget

   Wednesday, March 20th, 2013.  Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

“God is not greater if you reverence him, but you are greater if you serve him”  (Saint Augustine of Hippo 354–430).

The worth of God is not dependent on my credentials nor your acceptance or rejection of Him; however, our value is increased by our relationship with Him. In fact, our entire destination in life and in the hereafter hangs in the balance.

God will not force us to love and accept Him, but His desire is that we will. In John 3:16, Jesus reminds us: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

God, thank You for giving us the opportunity to worship and fellowship with You. Amen
