Daily Nugget

   Saturday, March 16th, 2013.  Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

Butterflies move from flower to flower, not struck by the beauty of the flowers and not conscious that they are pollinating them to produce another generation of flowers. All they see is food! But we see the beautiful butterfly, the beautiful flower, and the beautiful though unconscious cooperation between the two. We see them and we marvel—at God the Creator.

God gives us such beauty everywhere we look. The flower, the butterfly, the ant, or the sunrise each gives us a complexity of beauty in everything he made; in fact, go look in the mirror. There is no one quite like you. The writer of Psalms 139:14 puts it this way, “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.”

God, thank You for creating my friends so special. Amen
