Daily Nugget

     Wednesday, March 13th, 2013.  Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

“Plenty of people miss their share of happiness, not because they never found it, but because they didn’t stop to enjoy it” (William Feather 1889–1981).

Every day we may miss a rose or even a diamond because in our haste we never saw it. It could have been disguised as a co-worker, a friend, a spouse, or other family member. We must look today for that hidden blessing God has placed right in front of us.

The writer of Proverbs 27:9 says,  “Ointment and perfume rejoice the heart: so doth the sweetness of a man’s friend by hearty counsel.”

God, thank You for those treasures You put on our path. Help us to recognize the ones we encounter today. Amen
