Daily Nugget

     Tuesday, March 19th, 2013.  Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

“Not without design does God write the music of our lives. Be it ours to learn the time, and not be discouraged at the rests. The making of music is often a slow and painful process in this life” (John Ruskin).

We must enjoy the pauses and rests in our lives. The song of our lives is made better by the crescendos, decrescendos, and pauses which serve to keep it interesting.

The writer of Psalms 116:7 says, “Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.”

Again, we must enjoy the rests God gives us out of His abundant love for us.

God, thank You for all the ups, downs,  and for everything You bring into our lives. Amen
