Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill
“Maturity is the
ability to do a job whether or not you are supervised, to carry money without
spending it, and to hear an injustice without wanting to get even.” (Ann
Landers)
Hopefully
as we grow older, we
get at least a little wiser, but the following quote reminds us: “With age comes wisdom, but
sometimes age comes alone.” (Oscar Wilde)
The writer of Hebrews 5:14 says, “
But strong meat belongeth to them that
are of full age, even those who by reason of use
have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.” Let our
years be of value to keep the lessons the miles have taught us.
God,
thank You for the wisdom to discern good and evil. Amen.
