Yahweh

For Whose Glory?

"Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, today let it be known that You are God in Israel and I am Your servant, and that at Your word I have done all these things. Answer me, Lord! Answer me so that this people will know that You, Yahweh, are God and that You have turned their hearts back."

Then Yahweh's fire fell and consumed the burnt offering, the wood, the stones, and the dust, and it licked up the water that was in the trench. When all the people saw it, they fell facedown and said, "Yahweh, He is God! Yahweh, He is God!"

Let's think a moment about the water poured all over the altar, etc.

The task seemed of course... impossible... and for man... it would be.

This is exactly where Yahweh enjoys demonstrating His reality... in our impossibilities.

So... where does Yahweh have you... what is your "unable" challenge that is going to demonstrate to a skeptical world that Yahweh is God?

We must get our focus on Yahweh... on His purposes for His own reputation... and that we are His... and He will use us for His own glory.

The self-seeking glory hounds of religion know not this God.
