Yahweh, Day 112

 

Day 112, Yahweh: His NAME Cometh #3

"Look, Yahweh comes from far away, His anger burning and heavy with smoke. His lips are full of fury, and His tongue is like a consuming fire. 28 His breath is like an overflowing torrent that rises to the neck. [He comes] to sift the nations in a sieve of destruction and to put a bridle on the jaws of the peoples to lead [them] astray."

Should one ever wish to demonstrate that there is in fact a God that is involved in the affairs of man ... simply study the history of the rise and fall of nations and empires.  Then tremble ... to know that Yahweh still maintains the sieve of destruction.

Intercessory Prayer: Oh Yahweh!  Give to us the understanding that our confidence cannot rest in any nation, government, policy, law, or construct of man.  Only in the Name, Yahweh, is our trust as a people … only in You!  For Your Name’s sake.  In Jesus Name.  Amen.
