Day 66, Yahweh … Promises a Journey

1Kings 18:20-21 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)

“So Ahab summoned all the Israelites and gathered the prophets at Mount Carmel. Then Elijah approached all the people and said, ‘How long will you hesitate between two opinions? If Yahweh is God, follow Him. But if Baal, follow him.’ But the people didn't answer him a word.”

Notice that Elijah is defending God ... for God's own sake.

The multitudes wish for God to be their god ... but few wish to be God's ... for God's own sake ... But ... the few who will, are being searched for by Yahweh.

All the false gods make vain promises of this or that blessing ... Protection ... Fame ... Riches ... Etc ... Ad-nausea ...

... Yahweh promises ... journey.

Intercessory Prayer:  Dear Father,  I pray today that You will set our minds on the greatest journey of all … to walk with Christ … wherever He may lead.  For the glory of You Name.  In Jesus Name.  Amen.
