Yahweh, Day 15

Day 15: Believing Yahweh Sees
Moses, after the burning bush and reuniting with his brother Aaron … goes to the Israelite slaves in Egypt. Moses demonstrates for the people the miraculous power of Yahweh and shares the desire of Yahweh to deliver Israel from their captivity … and what is the specific point that scripture makes about Israel’s response?

They believed that Yahweh had seen them in their misery …

Exodus 4:31 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)
“The people believed, and when they heard that the LORD had paid attention to them and that He had seen their misery, they bowed down and worshiped.”

Remember now, for Yahweh to see means that Yahweh embraces with understanding, therefore, “Yahweh Sees” is the equivalent of Yahweh Providing.  The Hebrews believed that Yahweh had seen their misery … and their natural response to that belief was … worship.
