Daily Nugget

Monday, November 11th. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill

"A man can be as truly a saint in a factory as in a monastery, and there is as much need of him in the one as in the other" (Robert J. McCracken 1904–1973).

It has been said you must bloom where you are planted, and that is especially true of the Christian life. God needs us to be as effective in the market place as we need to be in the pew or pulpit. We are not to necessarily be isolated from the world, but to be insulated through the blood of Jesus.  The apostle Paul gives the Romans and us this advice in Romans 12:2, “Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Let us be the light of the world God needs us to be.

God,  thank You for the trust You have placed in us. Let me walk worthy of that trust. Amen.
Bro. Bill
