“Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon a donkey, and upon a colt of a donkey” (Zechariah 9:9).

Jesus came to the world in humility, seeking to do the will of the Father. May we likewise--instead of shouting commands to The God of The Universe--bow humbly in His presence, receiving the instructions He has for us, as well as reaping the blessings of serving Him.

God, forgive me for the times when I have tried to make You conform to my ideas and whims. Let me be Your servant. Thank You, Sir. Amen.
