"There is no season such delight can bring
As summer, autumn, winter, and the spring" (William Browne, 1591–1643).

Just as there is no song in the hymnal that is not my favorite song, there is no season that is not my favorite season. Each season has its own special beauty and purpose, and one of the best things is that each season brings change. The wise writer of Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us: “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.”

Isn’t God great to change things around to keep us from being bored!

God, thank You for the blessings of each season and each day. Amen.
