Daily Nugget
Saturday, February 9th, 2013. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.
“All the while thou studiest revenge, thou art tearing thy own wound open” (unknown).
The longer one carries a grudge the more damage one does to himself. The damage is physical, emotional, and spiritual. The writer of Leviticus 19:18 gives us this advice from God: “Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.”
God, help us to look to You and forgive as You have forgiven us. Amen
Bro. Bill
I am thankful to know this Awesome God.
