Many people rise to great levels of success from tragic, if not pathetic conditions. It is as if the challenges have brought out the best in them. The writer of 1 Peter 4:2 encourages us with these words: “Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you.”

God, thank You for our struggles that serve to increase our faith.  Amen
