Daily Nugget

     Saturday, February 2nd, 2013. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

“Talk what we will of faith, if we do not trust and rely upon Him, we do not believe in Him”  (Anthony Farindon).

Even the disciples talked a good talk, but their faith faltered during the hours after Jesus’ crucifixion. Trust in God is a marathon and not a sprint. Each mile builds the faith it will take to carry us through tomorrow.

In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus gave His disciples (and us) these words of encouragement in relation to what we call the Great Commission: “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

God, strengthen our faith as we walk with You.  Amen
