Every task has its own challenges. We expect a certain amount of difficulty, but usually something will ‘pop up’ that slows down or even stops progress. Being found faithful means we meet those opportunities even if no one else knows our struggle.  Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 25:21,   “Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”  And who better to judge our dependability?

God, let me be dependable enough to pass your test.  Amen.
