Yahweh: Where We Stand

Micah 5:4-5 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)
“He will stand and shepherd them in the strength of Yahweh,
in the majestic name of Yahweh His God.
They will live securely, for then His greatness will extend
to the ends of the earth. He will be their peace…”

Just as our Savior and Lord took His stand, we are likewise told to take our stand against the evil forces in this world.  These are spiritual forces that are set on death and destruction.  They are certainly a formidable foe, and only by standing in the Spirit and armor of God can we stand … stand therefore.

Ephesians 6:13-14 “This is why you must take up the full armor of God, so that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having prepared everything, to take your stand. Stand, therefore …” (HCSB)
