Daily Nugget

    Friday, November 9th, 2012.

Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill
“Lord, I crawled across the barrenness to you with my empty cup uncertain in asking any small drop of refreshment. If only I had known you better I’d have come running with a bucket.” (Nancy Spiegelberg)

Too many times we are empty and dry when God wants to fill us with the living water. We come thirsty with only a thimble, and He has train car loads of blessing for us. In  week of challenges, we need to listen to these words from the apostle Paul in Philippians 4:7-8, “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

God, we run to You today, not for answers but for Your presence and the truth we find in You.  Amen.
Bro. Bill
