Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill
A
cheerful look makes a dish a feast. —George Herbert
The most elegant meal eaten
while scowling sets wrong on your stomach. However a peanut butter sandwich
shared with a friend or friends where there is laughter becomes a luscious
fare. People
still need human contact. Solitary confinement is still the most severe
punishment that a prisoner can receive. As Christians we need to be sensitive
to the need that people have to be touched and cared for. “For none of us lives to himself alone and none of us dies to himself
alone” (Rom. 14:7).
God, thank
you for our friends and family. Amen.
Bro.
Bill
I am thankful to know this Awesome God!
