Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill

“If, instead of a gem or even a flower, we could cast the gift of a lovely thought into the heart of a friend, that would be giving as angels give.” (George Macdonald)

In reality, we can put a good thought into the heads of our friends and acquaintances. When a friend comes into the room our hearts are lightened and smiles decorate our faces.  We must be the ones who brings joy to others as we come into their presence.  The wise writer of Proverbs 18:24 reminds us: “A man that hath friends must show himself friendly.”

God, let me be the one to bring light and joy to my friends and family. Amen.
