Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill

God made us essentially what we are. We shouldn't find fault with Him because we are different from others. We need to discover what we are and grow in the pattern He has designed for us. We are responsible for growing, but not for the essential element of our being. A little girl expressed it beautifully when she said, “Mother made me this much”—indicating the smallness of a baby—“and I growed that much”—showing how tall she had become.

How tall have you grown in your Christian life? Jesus set the example for us in all areas of life. In Luke 2:52, we are reminded, “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.”  Again the question comes, “How are you growing?”

 God, help our growth to honor You. Amen.
