Let us not lose the perspective of the true meaning of Christmas. The good news was not about the money made, but about the baby born in Bethlehem. In the familiar story found in Luke 2:10-11, we find these words of cheer:

“I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.”

The good news is because of that day each day can be a good day for us.
