Day 157

Yahweh

Grace Explained

"I, the Lord, have called you for a righteous [purpose], and I will hold you by your hand. I will keep you, and I make you a covenant for the people [and] a light to the nations..."
Isaiah 42:6 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)

Yesterday we saw that God is driven by a passion for justice. Today, God, extends/shares/offers that same burden into our lives.... God's burden for righteous justice.

When Yahweh extends a burden... He will also equip those called to accomplish what He burdens them to do.

"For it is God who is working in you, [enabling you] both to will and to act for His good purpose."
Philippians 2:13 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)

This is Yahweh's Grace at work in us. God by His Spirit giving us first the burden of His call... then Yahweh giving us the power to fulfill the call.

GRACE: "God giving both a burden... and the ability... to do His will."

This is in The Name.
