If we only let God have control of our lives, our best efforts are never as good as what He can do with us. The writer of Isaiah 64:8 gives us these words:

“O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.”

"God, I am willing to be the clay in Your hand. Make me into the vessel you need. Amen."
