Friday, May 28th. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

“The heavens are as deep as our aspirations are high.”
Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

I have heard shallow men and women wonder what we people will do for an eternity in heaven. They bore easily here on earth and can’t begin to comprehend what it will be like in the eternal realm. The truth is found in 1Corinthians 2:9,
“Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”
The sad thing is many will not be there, and to comprehend their fate is even more disturbing. In Matthew 7:23-27 Jesus gives this account,
“I will profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.”

"God, Thank You for being The Way.
Amen."
