Some may wonder what xtnyoda's thoughts are on the "Health Care Summit" held in Washington the other day... well... I've found a few observations in a CNN article (of all places) that pretty well sums up my thoughts.

Enjoy.

CNN report
Health summit a 'stunt' and 'spectacle,' analysts say...

Analysts say it's political theater and a public relations move...

"I think it's reasonable to expect that an exchange like this is not going to change the public's skepticism about the way Washington works," said Michael Murakami, a visiting professor of government at Georgetown University....

Murakami added that the summit is a "big PR stunt" where "nothing is going to be decided."

Presidential historian Douglas Brinkley said the summit "wasn't much more than a TV spectacle."....

Now ask yourself...

"Who called for this summit to take place?"

"Who set and controlled the agenda for and during the summit?"

Enough said?

I think that history will reflect that his 'beer summit' accomplished more. If that is even possible.
