Wednesday, February 24th. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

On a blank leaf of his Bible, a man had drawn a circle with several radii converging on the center, which he called “Christ.” On the radii were written the names of different denominations of Christians. Underneath were written the words: “The nearer to the center, the nearer to one another.”

An old song, "Near to the Heart of God," expresses an attitude of the closer walk with our Heavenly Father. The closer we come to the throne of God, the faster the trappings of titles and religion fall away.

When that happens, we can see the Father’s face.

Let us pray with the writer of Psalms 51:10:
“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”

"God, even as my desire is to be near You, increase my desire for more of You.
Amen."

God is Awsome.
