Our Federal Park system is going to once again allow the right of law abiding Americans to carry their lawful weapons in our national parks starting this coming Monday.

Of course there are those who are crying "foul" saying this is going to jeopardize the pristine tranquility of our national parks... when in actuality it will help to restore the pristine tranquility of our parks by making thugs think twice before they assault... plunder... and rape... our tranquil loving citizens... as the report points out the numbers of assaults and rapes on our parks lands...

Washington Post article
Federal government to lift restrictions on guns in national parks

The federal government will lift long-standing restrictions on guns in national parks Monday, meaning that visitors with proper permits could pack heat along with camping and picnic gear to most of the 392 parks. The move concerns current and former employees of the National Park Service who are convinced that the move will damage the spirit of the nation's park system.

Depending on state gun laws, visitors will be able to carry concealed and loaded guns into parks, the Park Service said....

.... National parks hosted about 275 million visitors in 2008, the agency said. There were 3,760 reported major crimes, including five homicides and 37 rapes....
This is a welcomed movement toward the reestablishment of the constitutional right of law abiding Americans to carry fire arms.

Chuck,

It is great that a law is done away with that restricts our right but their is still a privilage mentality applied to the 2nd Amendment.

Big oil executives, Rockefellers, Goerge Soros, and that ilk, are all part of that group we talk about. They do control the prices of oil and our economies. We also must not forget about the Federal Reserve and the Goldman Sachs connection.
