Day 137, Yahweh: Rewards and Gifts

"Do you not know? Have you not heard? Yahweh is the everlasting God, the Creator of the whole earth."  

Isaiah 40:27-30 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)

Yahweh has come to us in Christ ... and He has brought His rewards and gifts with Him. "See, the Lord God comes with strength, and His power establishes His rule. His reward is with Him, and His gifts accompany Him."

Isaiah 40:10 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)

If you could name the one thing you desire the greatest in this life ... what would it be?  As Yahweh spoke to Abram in Genesis 15, I think He gives to the thinking person the correct answer as He told Abram that God would Himself be Abram's reward ... Abram's gift.  Would we leave all behind ... to live in tents ... for the reward of Yahweh's presence?

Intercessory Prayer:  Oh Father … give us a heart that would forsake all for the joy of Your presence, glory, and acceptance.  In Jesus Name.  Amen.
