“Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadow” (Helen Adams Keller, 1880–1968).

What a positive perspective for today from a lady challenged throughout a life of silence and darkness as a result of her being deaf and blind.  May we take advantage of any opportunity to encourage and lift someone’s spirits today. The writer of Psalm 89:15-16 says, “Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.   In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.”

God, thank You for giving us the ability not only to draw near to You, but also to lift up the spirits of others. Amen.
