Yahweh, Day 136

 

Day 136, Yahweh: Herald of Good News

"Do you not know? Have you not heard? Yahweh is the everlasting God, the Creator of the whole earth." 

Isaiah 40:27-30 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)

And just exactly what is our Good News?...

"Zion, herald of good news, go up on a high mountain. Jerusalem, herald of good news, raise your voice loudly. Raise it, do not be afraid! Say to the cities of Judah, ‘Here is your God!’"  

Isaiah 40:9 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)

"Go up on a high mountain..."  Here there is no shame ... there is no fear ... there is no hesitation. With bold compassion we cry out to a desperate humanity ... here is Yahweh ... creator of all there is ... And ... He is our God.

If you only would ... He will be your God.  Yahweh has given you breath ... has given you life ... and would give you vibrant, spiritual life as well.  This is our cry.

This is in The Name.

Intercessory Prayer:  Oh Father!  What an honor that we can join with Your Heavenly chorus and shout it from the mountains … Yahweh is God!  Here is our God!  In Jesus Name.  Amen.
