Yahweh, Day 17

Day 17 Yahweh... Is Seeking (part 2)

Exodus 6:2-3 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)

Then God spoke to Moses, telling him, "I am Yahweh. I appeared to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as God Almighty, but I did not make My name Yahweh known to them."

We live in a different spiritual reality in this day.  Yahweh said that He had not made his name know to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, but rather had revealed only a part of His character in the "God Almighty" revelation ... known to us as "El Shaddai."

The spiritual reality for us today is that we no longer live in a day of excuses … for we have not only the name of God, Yahweh, revealed to humanity … but we also have God Himself … in Jesus our Messiah … attempting to reveal Himself … and His name … to humanity.

Jesus is the full revelation of God, and demonstrates the great length and effort Yahweh has gone to in His effort to reveal His name. Jesus said,

 Luke 19:9-10 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)

 "For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save the lost."

No excuses ... Yahweh has revealed both His name ... and His very self ... to humanity.  We are accountable.!

Intercessory Prayer: Oh Father!  We have been so dull of hearing and dull of seeing!  For the sake of Your Name … open our ears!  Oh Father!  For the sake of Your Kingdom … open our eyes!  Oh Father!  For the sake of Your Will to be done here on earth as it is in heaven … give us understanding!  For Your sake … in Jesus Name!  Amen!
