Daily Nugget

   Tuesday, December 10th. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

“If well thou hast begun, go on foreright; It is the end that crowns us, not the fight” (Robert Herrick 1591–1674).

If when you look in the mirror you see you are not where you want to be nor what you wish to become, remember what the writer of the 100th Psalm verse 3 says, “Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.” Remember, too, what the apostle Paul told us in Philippians 1:6: “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

God, thank You for taking Your time with me. I trust You to finish what You have begun. Amen.
